Gitzo g 226 Tripod Good Deal??

I am picking up a Gitzo g226 Tripod tonight from a local guy. Everything works and it is excellent to mint shape.

I am paying $90.00 for it. Is this a good deal. There is not too much info. on the web about this model.

Your thoughts?

According to a site (http://photosig.pcphotoreview.com/mfr/gitzo/tripods/PRD_83895_3114crx.aspx) found by Google, it was about $390,= so I'd say it's a great deal...

It's an older model: Series 2 Reporter IIRC.

I picked it up today and it was from a retiree who never used it. Brand new and it even came with a Gitzo Off-set ball head that has "France" and other city names around the head collar. Not sure which model it is so any help would be appreciated,

$90.00 out the door. I love the design and compactness. I finally found a great bargain.
