Computer LCD Hood

Stray light bounces around my room during the day and the colors on my computer monitor become muted. I'm thinking a LCD hood will help reduce glare and improve clarity but I can't find any links other than http://www.hoodmanusa.com/

I've considered making one myself, but before I try can anyone recommend any good products?

I use the hoodman for my 19 inch crt. It works well.
