The Old Olympia Brewhouse sits at the base of the Deschutes River lower falls, which would be to the right in the photo if it had gone that far. This building ceased to be used for other than storage back in the early 70's. In 1983 I worked night security in this building, the upper floors were missing most of the roof back then.

In the last year the brewery complex was purchased by a water bottling company, and they are selling off almost all of the outbuildings and associated property. Unfortunately I expect this building to be demolished inside of the next decade, if not sooner.

Thanks for the info Turbowolf. That sucks that they may tear it down. I'll have to try and get a few more pics before they do.
