Is there a thread about this I uploaded 2 pics but wanted to get the writting between them but couldnt ...
Any advice or direction appreciated...

You have to embed the photos, hosted from another site. I use imageshack. You can then get your writing in between the photos.

After you upload the picks using the "manage attachments" feature as illustrated in the above links, then you can embed those attached images anywhere within the post to sit your needs.
To do this, first put your text cursor where you want the image to be embedded in your post.
Next click on the little paperclip icon http://photography-on-the.net/forum/images/editor/attach.gif
... and from the drop down menu select the image you wish to embed.
Text will appear that looks like this;
123456
You can move the 123456 part to where you want the image to display,.
This way you can "embed" and image "inline" like so;

If you don't do that second step the attached images will display like so always at the end of the post.
