The storm sown here was quite a mess this morning, but It caused for sme neat waves

I was happy with how this one came out... Thoughts?

Wow! That is an awesome shot. So clear and full of action. It makes me want to run though seeing that wave coming in and knowing the camera is in possible danger :-) Great job!

Love the shot, I would like to see that in BW. I feel it will have a stronger emotion.

Great action shot - the shadows are a little too dark perhaps some fill in flash might have helped.
What's the exif info? What camera?

Thank you.. fortunately I did not have my tripod so I didn't attempt to set the camera up!! :)

I originally had thought that too, when I went to convert through the red channel, I got frustrated because I didnt like what I was getting so I gave up.. I will try again and post as well.

I used a 550ex shot up into the rafters at 1/1 (i think, or maybe 1/2,1/4 or something close. I'll post exif in a lil while, I processed this on work computer and now im home :(

Maybe its just my eyes but I find the white "snake" on the first left pillar a bit distracting. Maybe you can try healing it away in PS. Again, it might just be me, I didnt notice at first but once I did my eyes were kinda stuck to it. Aside from that I think its a wonderful shot. I too would love to see this one in B&W. Keep up the great work!

I really like that photo- very atmospheric.

I'm glad that you didn't use a slow speed to make the water look like cottonwool - so favoured by waterfall photographers; the waves here look real and very wet!

I like the photo in colour - but then I just don't like black and white - perhaps thats influenced by my memories of a time when almost all photography was in B&W - like Henry Ford's black cars!'

Here it is BW, I added a little film grain to make it a bit more believeable.

I MUCH prefer the colour shot!

Black and white leaves me cold!

Not a bad shot, but I wish that you had taken two big steps to your right befor you fired the exposure. The "straight down the middle" view is very static. If your shot had been from fruther right (or left, for that matter) you would have moved the vanishing point from the exact center to one of the 1/3rd points. It would have been a more interesting composition.
