View Full Version : 1D MK-II firmware update - works well.

Today I had the chance to test out the AI Servo element of the latest firmware update for the 1D MK-II. I can say without any doubt that it has improved the performance of AI Servo, even in bright daylight for low contrast subjects. This was tested at a rally (cars by the way) with all my 600 shots today using AI Servo and I can't find one where it skipped a beat.

Lord I've got to get around to flashing my cameras... I haven't done 1D or 20D yet... :)

I found that my flash photography with my 550EX was not as consistant as it has been before the update. Maybe it was me... but I was using Program Mode for the flash photography as usual. I'll have to take some more shots to see how inconsistent it is. Before the upgrade, all my flash photography was perfect without making any exposure adjustments. :rolleyes:
