I took a few shots today of My sister, the bride's, shoes, and I was wondering if anyone could offer any thoughts/suggestions.

i really like the composition of the first one, but i wish that more of the top shoe's ankle strap was in focus.

yeah, i agree, need to use a narrower aperture (how do you spell that?) to get all those details in focus. also i think it could use a little more light on the subject - I do like the concept though

I appreciate the suggestions.

I'll try & re-shoot it tomorrow, and spare everyone the agony from showing the selective color versions of these pictures. :)

The angle of the shoes is good in the first shot, this is indeed composed well.
Not sure about the angle of the shoes n the second shot but this is well compensated with a beautiful white flower next to it, well done.

nice concept. they just seem to be missing something to me. or at least have an empty bg. it needs something to it so it doesn't seem so empty. maybe a bouquet? or some flowers? idk. just my thoughts.

I like the composition of the first picture but agree with a couple others as to the top not being in focus on the shoe. If you wanted that affect - then take the same shot but from more of a distance.
