Has anyone heard of a China Whole seller that sells Camera's VERY, VERY CHEAP???

A link would help. Probably not legit. I always just use reputable vendors such as Adorama, B&H, or Canoga Camera. I always figured that anyone who undercuts them by more than $50 or so on a big ticket item most likely isn't legit.

If it looks too good to be true, then it is. Steer clear and spend a bit more to buy from a reputable dealer.

They're probably right. However, there are no internal works, just the body.

You might want to bookmark www.resellerratings.com (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/www.resellerratings.com)

If, in the future, you have to ask if some place is legit, I would check them out there first.

i ordered a camera that the price was really low once from a site (the name eludes me right now) but they sent an email saying that they needed me to call and confirm the order.

when i called, they said it was on backorder and that i should choose another option. i said that i was fine waiting and they gave me a 2 week timeframe. 2 weeks later they hadnt shipped anything so i called them again and they said they should be getting another shipment in in 2 weeks. go figure. well i would have been more patient if i hadn't sold the camera that i had been using since i thought it would be a week max from the time i ordered (i requested expedited shipping lol.)

moral of the story, if it seems too good to be true, check online reviews to see if they are legit. when i checked these guys out, the bait and switch was their overall business plan.
