Some pics from last months 24h Rennen on the Nordschleife

Went off to the Nurburgring and Spa this year for the 24hr race. Makes a good change from the Le Mans race.

Shame this year as they have installed FIA spec crash fencing virtually the length of the 13 mile circuit. Still some opportunities to get some decent shot but so much harder this year as opposed to last year.

Still a fantastic event though!

Thanks for the comment. Not sure I'd agree about taking the bike round. Car, no problem but bike? Are you mad?!?!?!?!

Oooer. Now thats what I call a small world.

Have any trouble importing those shoes into the UK? (after you said they stunk so much). And you so should have stuck the Volvo out on the track!!!!

Some great pics you took, very impressed. How did you get access to the infield in front of the Mercedes Benz grandstand. (I think you may well have just missed me out of one of your pics as I was in the upper tier for the start of the race). Plan on making this my annual pilgrimage now instead of Le Mans so it'd be handy to know for next year!!!

Shoes made it into the UK alright. Sadly the Volvo is my companies, so sticking it on the track would be a no no.
