Hey my name is Jeff. Im new to my camera, 40D, and lenses. Im making some good photos, some very bad ones too, but could use some tips. Maybe go out and shoot with a few people and get ideas. I moved up from a G7, which is awesome for what it is.:)

Im an artist working with handblown glass. I work with others to feed my skills, and learn new stuff. I have taught classes around the US.:) I think its the best way to learn new stuff.:) I can be free at a moments notice as well.:) My wife loves this hobby too, so its not hard to convince her to come along and spot!!

I like birds a lot lately. We saw some Bobolinks at my Grandmas today. Tough bird to shoot, but very different.
Big Turkey Vulture landed in front of us too, being chased by a Crow. Also we know where a Pilated Woodpecker nest is.;)

I have a great place to shoot. Topsmead State Forrest. My Grandparents live there. There is open grassland that is surrounded by deep forrest. 511 acres.:) LOTS of wildlife at times too, deer, bears, turkeys, red squirrels...

Im just looking to have some fun, meet some new people, and shoot some good photos.:) Wanna hang?:)

I'm in CT. New Haven area. Where are you located?

I'm not really into birds, but other wildlife sounds appealing.

I certainly would like to get some CT area POTN members together for some shooting.
