Hey all, just thought I would share some snaps with you guys. A few friendly guys donated their BMW's for a bit of a photoshoot whom shot Nikon.

Not much of a series but was cool enough of these guys to just donate cars. :)

Thanks. I was hoping the GTR turned up and a M coupe but they were called away. Still had fun none the left. That M5 was stupidly loud.

Yeah, I got a message saying we are visiting a car park and looked the opening times and were still open. We parked as far as we could from everyone and just waited for sunset.

Was more fun to shoot as the sun went down. Would like to try some more open locations sometime. Car photography is so much harder than it looks.

I really liked this pic

Need to clone out the light on the passenger side arch

If only we had clear skies :( Didn't like the underground section but still an M5 does look good!

Wasn't as fun. Look odd having a silver and black set of Beemers with an orange tint. Think I would rather get a 2 stop and 4 stop harsh ND grad and a better location instead.

Definately like this pic the best:

Nice composition and lighting.

The only thing I would do with that pic is maybe photoshop out the gold antenna on the black bimmer. It kinda clashes with the M5.

You have to be over the car almost... He's standing probably 2 feet away from the car.

i like how you made the hood look like its 15 feet long.12mm on a full frame sensor just gives out some insane distortion to allow me to do that. Was pretty much on top of the car though.

Love Love Love Love the angle eyes.
Messing around with my point and shoot exelim with my friend's 535xi with the angel eyes at night is really what got my interested in photography to begin with.
How did you take number 5 on with spinning rim exposing caliper and disk. LOVE IT!

Many thanks, it was taken with a camera mount which was just a flat bit of metal with two triangle places with suction cups and a ballhead camera mount. It was prefabricated, something similar to this.

Used the Sigma 12-24 for wideness and a long shutter speed. Car was creeping along at like 2-3 mph. Used the burn tool in Photoshop to bring out the caliper and brake a touch.
