Cropped Pano- what do you think

I didn't have time to get a series of shots for hugin, so I had to crop a pano. This is with my new 17-40, and a 30D. Handheld, and played with in photoshop a bit. What do you think?

the differnces look pretty subtle to me
but the more expanse of sky in 2, i like it better

hmm...i agree. i barely see any difference between the two. also, it's kind of a grainy picture - the dark in the foreground looks bad. i do like the more expansive sky though, as mentioned.

Yes..I....uh.....forgot the camera was set to ISO 400.....

In all, I like the expanse of the sky, the layered mountains. Nice composition.
