Skin tones look a little off, and I agree that it needs to be cropped in. It is fun to see where she is, but the background in this instance is pretty dominant.

What kind of post processing did you do?

I agree that there is too much "context" and not enough baby.

Also, on my screen there is a very noticeable blue cast. Your EXIF says you were set on AWB - is that what you thought you were set on?

It would seem that you need to do a CWB with a gray card and take the guess work out of it. I have no idea why AWB doesn't work any better than it does, at times. Perhaps you had a UV filter or something hanging on the front of your XT.
