The Champion Racing Association tore up a few race cars in their 125-lap feature at the Anderson (Ind.) Speedway:

Tough track. It looks pretty narrow.
Good shots.

Anderson Speedway, quarter-mile high-banked track. A place where NASCAR guys like Mark Martin, Tony Stewart and Ryan Newman raced late models, sprints and midgets.

The #11 was leading at the time. The #72 came back from plowing underneath another car to finish third. The drivers were kind enough to have all of the day's biggest crashes in the turn where I was standing. Poor place for art but a good place for action. :)

Used a Rebel XTi with a 70-300mm IS and 50mm f/1.8.

Nice captures, especially the second and fourth ones. :-) You should add these to the crash shots thread.

Looks like they will be replacing front stubs on those cars in pic #4
