checks for new d60?

hiya......d60 owners.....

im just about to receive my d60 + sigma17-35f2.8/4 lens...
what tests or checks should i do to ensure i havent got a duff one? hearin alsorts of rumours on these forum things......

aite...I'll try my best

-make sure you get everything that comes with it.
-check to see what version it is (its all the way down in the menu)
-make sure all three AF point work
-try test images at different stops
-test it with all raws to see if you have the comon "problem"
-mess around with the setting to see which ones will suit your needs.
-check to see how long the battery will last you on different conditions
-is the flash working?


maybe someone can give you a better explaination of this but if all of these work you should be ok...

What is the latest version? My D60, purchased yesterday (Sat 5th. Oct) reports "Firmware Ver. 1.0.2".
