I have been going though some images from the summer recently and I dropped across this one. I think I originally dismissed it as fairly uninteresting but now I am not so sure.

Richard, I think it's really good, sort of reminds me of a patch work quilt, and the light and shadows just add to the overeall effect. I don't there is just something about it that grabs your interest and brings into the photo, maybe it's the mix of the rolling hills, the square fields and the snakey tree line that cuts through the photo. There is a lot in there to make you keep coming back.

and I think it's the lovely curvy twisty hedge which makes it all so lovely
besides the lighting

its amaxing scene for sure .. the play of light and shadows cast by clouds is jus awesomeeee

I like this, but have to go with Marie and Sandy. I think a tight crop on the curvy hedge could do a lot for this.
