Well I don't know any of his songs, but he was great entertainer. A little story my fellow concert shooters will enjoy. I got the normal email a couple hours before the performance with the normals rules and what not, 3 songs no flash ....... I get there and speak with my contact and she tells me, " Oh by the way forget my email it was wrong. They just told me there is no media passes, (I was like, WHAT!!) you can shoot anywere you want, for as long as you want, and as many songs as you want and you can use a flash." I just about fell over.

Thanks everyone. He was very entertaining and if I had not had a previous gig to go to I would have stayed for the whole show.

I like # 1 but # 7 really is a piece of art ! Charlie Pride was one of the few black men to ever make it in country music. He had 12 gold records and 30 number one hits.

I grew up listing to his music. He looks much better than many of his peers from that era.
great photos ! Johnathan
