Can anyone tell me how to achieve the look in the portraits at littlesportraits.com. The faces are almost porcelain like, but they still look natural - just with a pastel tint. Thanks Julie

Is your link right? Seems to be a non-existent/search spam site with but one picture. And littleSportraits.com is the closest I could find.

hmmmm. Interesting that you like that look. It seems a little cheesy to me.
Anyways, it looks like the only thing they did was take out the contrast and desaturate the photo a bit.

It looks like they've been desaturated then manually colourised.
I don't like it.

I agree. Who does poor-quality background music like that anymore? Also, it changes with each gallery?! Jeez.
As mentioned, their pictures just look desaturated. Maybe some skin-smoothing. Read this (http://www.ferradasphotography.com/skinsosoft/) if you're interested about that. I think the guy XtremeSLR on this forum takes the coolest portraits.

Yikes! They look like a colorized old B&W movie! I guess someone out there likes them....notice I said someone.
Yeah, and the music was quite annoying, my cat ran from the room! Props detract from the poor photography? I thought the colorization detracted from the poor quality of the photography!

But that's the whole point! The crappiest possible music was chosen for a reason. You're so busy scrambling around the site looking for the OFF button you are distracted from noticing their horrible photography and colorizing techniques! ;) Besides, did anybody notice something else: not a single way to contact them that I could find (at least in firefox). I haven't seen a website or business as poorly presented as this in years.

I wonder if they are paying the artists to use that music? If Neil Diamond even stumbles upon that site he might not be pleased! What would they say if Neil Diamond used their pictures?

It is definately a site to remember. THe contact is the number 9 at the top of the page (at least in IE)
The pictures are definately different, but some of the catches are decent.

Yea, as he said the contact details are there, but the fact that you couldn't find them speaks volumes about the "navigation" :)
I don't have much too add to the OP's question, but I will agree that it's a pretty annoying site!
