Due to the dusty, dirty, muddy conditions at mx races what bodies and also lenses does everyone use.

Thats what I use for MX, ATV MX, Sprint Cars, Sportscars, and Snowcross with a 24-70mm F 2.8 and a 70-200mm F 4.0 IS mounted on each body.

I used 20 and 30D's in the past.

40D works great for dusty conditions, sealed and the dust deletion feature works great for all that sensor dust.

I use my 17-40mm F/4 L & 70-200mm F/2.8 and I have no dust problems I especially since both lenses have internal focus & zoom mechanisms.
The kind of racing I shoot causes massive dust clouds and the blow right over us and coat us in a film of hot dirt. It's a messy messy business.
Edit : This was only 40 or so feet away.
