Any possible way to get a sample of your print work?
I would also like to know what plotter you use; please provide ICC printer profiles if possible.

I can send you printed samples off my press. Just let me know if you want to use your own image or I can send you one of my own stock images. I use the HP Z3100 44" Photo Printer and I create all custom ICC profiles for every specific need. Let me know if you'd like any more information!
Sorry for the late reply
Thanks

Hi there . . .
I noticed the printer you are using. I recently saw some canvas printing at an art show (Pittsburgh), and was blown away by some of the canvas prints. The photographer said he used the large format HP printer. I looked around the web, and it seems that the archival inks are VERY expensive. A couple of questions - Do you need to replace the entire ink cartridge, or can you re-fill them with the appropriate inks? Can I assume that you can replace individual cartridges when they get low, and not all at the same time? At $10 per square foot, you mail the prints rolled up? How much "extra" canvas is around the edges for framing purposes?
Thanks in advance for your info . . .

You are correct. There are 12 colors in my printer and I only have to replace the ones that are low. The quality on this press is amazing. I'm still blown away by it everytime I print to it, and I've used my share of different printers, ie Durst Lambda, Epson 9800, and many more. As for the canvas edges, I work with a 44" canvas material so anything that falls inside that size will be workable.
Hope this helps!

Great! So the $10 per sq foot is just for the image portion? ie-that part that gets the ink?
Do you coat the pictures with any sort of UV preservative that extends the life of the print?
Also, what state are you in? (in other words, are there any taxes with your price??)

Sure, I can do $10/sqft for the actual print size. Bleed will not be calculated into the price. I do not use any coating, but that is an option I will look into doing for the future. I reside in Atlanta Georgia and $10/sqft covers printing, trim to size and tax. Only additional cost will be for shipping. Local pickup is always welcome.
