A walk in the woods

After several months lurking and reading, and looking at some fantastic photographs, I've decided that the time has come to post a couple of my own.

Took a walk in the woods yesterday with my wife and daughter, and took a few shots. Both taken with the 20D / 'nifty-fifty' at f4 , AV with fill flash.

At 5 years old my daughter is a very cooperative model ( I'm pleased to say!! ) - she has little choice with Dad constantly pointing a camera at her.

I seem to spend more and more time with the 50mm 1.8 on the camera. My only complaint has been some of the background blur, but I'm pretty happy with these. The best 60 quid you can spend IMHO.

The best thing about your daughter is those stunning eyes. You've managed quite well to bring out the fine points.
