I justed learned that this is a Passion Flower.

I like dark backgrounds, so frequently do what you did. The flower itself is beautiful. Well executed. By the way, I've added some unusual "tools" to my backpack: 1. Clippers (to remove extraneous stems); 2. pieces of fabric (one black, one green) to use as backgrounds when needed.
