Election night

This shot was taken on election night. After coming up a little short, the candidate took a guitar and started on a bluesy rock solo. I thought it was very gracious and I took this shot. Does the shot work or it the background too busy? The lighting was tough, so I value the photo, but would anybody else?

You simply can't always choose your background. The shot is what it is, and I think you did well to get good color and a sharp image under the circumstances. I never heard of the guy or that election. My first thought was, here's a modern Davy Crockett singing to celebrate his victory. Guess I got the wrong message.
