Yep, 50mm f/1.8. Av mode, set to f/2.8 for most of the shots.

Thanks, was this with or without some extension tubes? I've tried macro-ing with my 50mm f/1.8 and I don't think I'm able to go as close as you do in your shots, unless i'm doing something wrong?

Nope, no extension tube or additions used. I think it's all to do with the angle of approach.

It's taken me a while to get the hang of it, get out there and practice practice practice is the best advice I can give.
