Hello everyone, I just got an S70 for Cmas which means the wife gets my 'old' S50. I got my S50 the week it came out. I have had a few different digital cameras but I am mainly self taught. What I am looking for, and I did serach a bit before posting this, is a quick and dirty guide/web site/something that lists different settings for different occasions. I understand these will be starting point suggestions and I will need to tweak them for my needs. I am hoping to improve the pictures I take without having to rely on the auto setting. I normally use the P mode so that I can change the white balance, exposure and such. I take outdoor lake pictures, tourist type pics, shooting 'matches', fireworks of course, underwater, and I am a band photographer for a friend. Any insights would be apreciated. I have tried reading and comprehending the shutter speed/iso/f-stop information and it just hasn't clicked yet. I do mess with it though. I use a tripod, selftimer, waterproof case, etc, when required I just need a little assistance.

Thanks for reading.
