Okay, i have only been into digital photography for 8 months so i am an extreme novice. Since discovering this forum i have noticed that apart from having great advice and opinions from you, there seems to be a few legends here that pipe up with excellent advise ALWAYS.

So i will kick things off with a name then maybe you can add to it, just as an acknowledgment of their contribution.

One name only:)

If there was an award for most consistently entertaining posts, also know as the "Forum Personality Award", it would have to go to Condyk.

If Petkal hadn't disappeared, it might have been a close horse race.

Where is he?

Where is he?

He's active on other forums. He's one of those those few people that really "gets" the art of photography as an art form. He tends to get a bit bored of kit and technicalities so often talked about here, so he often goes walkabout for a while.

He'll be back sometime.

Even though he's not around as much as he used to be, Dimitri (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/member.php?u=20238) has always been willing to help somebody out. He's a brilliant landscape photographer, too.
