I was curious to see how bad my new Sigma 30mm f1.4 EX DC would vignette on a full frame camera so while out camping this weekend I put it on my EOS 1n and shot some Kodak BW400 film.
I kind of like how it looked on some shots especially the ones where I was at the minimum focus distance (16 in.) or close to it. What do you guys think?

Almost looks as if it has a slight fisheye effect in #1 that works really well. #2 is almost there... it doesnt look as though the end of the branch is seperated enough from the background, but the center area looks wonderful. I really like the effect attained.

Thank you for looking and commenting. I also liked the fisheye effect and tried to get up close with most shots on the roll. The shots I took with the subject at a distance did not work so well. The more you stop down the more pronounced the vignette is. I think I am going to experiment more with this.
