First off, what's Solosprint?

Secondly, all shots were taken with a very dirty 20D (now clean and sitting at Canon waiting for me to pick it up), 70-200f/4, shot in JPG with various metering modes so I could play around. I'm really not happy with the output of most of the set, but I'm glad I learned what did and didn't work under those circumstances.

Now, onto the half-decent pics!

6. As you can tell I do a lot of panning. So I tried something different here:

Great pics! I use the 70-200 f/4 also for motorsports. What settings were you using?

Almost everything I shot that day was done in Tv mode at speeds between 1/50 and 1/400. The lighting really changed a lot throughout the day and I was kind of disappointed at the aperture settings the camera chose. I'm not sure if this is common or not, or a result of my choice of various metering modes (I varied between spot, partial and full).
