Hi,

How do you create a strong brown color for soil in a photo?
Do you pick it from pantone charts? or someplace else?
how do you replace these hard to find colors to make a natural strong photo?

You can use the Color Sampler tool in Photoshop to copy colors from one photo to another.

There are lots of ways to replace or enhance colors in an existing photo with sourcing colors externally. Do you have a sample photo in mind that you could share?

Appended.
I just wanted (for the sake of learning) to pick a good sky color, water color,
soil color.
I think Brown is the most difficult combination.
So what are you suggesting as good source of colors?

Pick the colors that are already existing in the photo.

To do so, select the Brush tool from to tool palette. Hold down the ALT key and the Brush temporarily turns into the Color Sampler tool. Click on a color in the photo and it becomes the foreground color which allows you to paint it into the photo. To change the color, double-click on the Foreground Color patch; the Color Picker will be activated and from there you can select the exact color you want; or adjust the tone and shading of the current color.

BTW, I'm having trouble understanding your questions and what exactly you're after....and I suspect others are having trouble to so there's isn't a large response. Are you interesting in editing/retouching photographs or are you painting and creating original artwork?
