Welcome to the forum. Looking at your website the biggest thing is lighting and post processing. Make sure you include where you are located, it would be a lot easier to do some of it in person.
Let me know if it is ok. I would like to do a little bit of work on the photo on your website.

Thanks for the kind welcome. I'll admit I am a little intimidated with all of the pro's here.
I am in Toronto, Ontario, Canada - don't suppose you're just a mile or two down the road?
Yes, please fix the shot - I should mention though that I'm not just looking for free help. I will need to learn to do this on my own. I have been using Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo to adjust images but mostly just "clarifying" or "quick fixing" the photo.

I messed around a little in Lightroom. But you can do the same in Corel. Keep in mind that the copy I am working on is a low resolution image so it has some limitations.
1. I adjusted levels (or curves) to get a little better light.
2. I then increased the saturation a just a bit. You can get away with a little bit extra on the web but don't over do it.
3. I increase the vibrance and clarity quite a bit. I'm not sure what these are called in PSP but there should be an equal.
Looking at it the saturation is a overdone. It would be better to back down just a little bit.

You can't really replace a good knowledgeable product photographer by buying a digital camera and going to work, at least not without a good deal of time invested to learn the skills.
If your willing to pay for services, I'd highly recommend paying for the photographer as opposed to hoping for some magic bullet to buy here in the services section..
there is nothing anyone can sell you here that is not already free on the rest of the forum, or the internet in general.
You've basically either got time to learn to do it well and the incentive to push yourself.
Or you've got the $$ to hire someone that already can do it.
But the two are not interchangeable, you can't buy the knowledge in the hopes of saving time and effort, and your time and incentive won't bring a pro walking through your door.
Since this is already becoming a "how to " thread, I;m going to move this to the part of the forum where you can get these answers you seek, for FREE!

Thanks for your post.
I'm not expecting a "magic bullet" and please don't tell me I don't have incentive - my previous hobby has grown into a business that now employs 10 people. I learned a long time ago to stick to what I know, and hire what I don't know. Would love to take night courses at the local school, but I never seem to get away from work much earlier than 8 p.m.
Since our product line is constantly changing, it doesn't make sense to me to have a pro come in to shoot an item that might be on the site for a week or two.
Please don't move this to the "how to" section - just delete it. I didn't know my post would offend, as it wasn't my intention.
As my heading stated "will gladly pay" - I am not expecting anyone for free.
I received a private message from a few nice people - one of which actually enjoys teaching the skills I seek.
Sorry to offend Cyberdyne - hope your harshness isn't how you are all the time.

I think you've read a lot into my reply that wasn't typed,
I never said nor meant to imply you don't have incentive, and certainly I don't think you've offended anyone at all!
I moved the thread to try to help and to get you more tips and information, the very thing I thought you were looking for, and because the market place forum is simply not the right place for the discussion above.
Not your fault, no harm done, it simply evolved that way.
And yes, I am this way all the time, all 30K posts and every one hates me for it. :)
