View Full Version : Photo Ops in Lytham, UK?

I am headed to Lytham St. Annes in Lancashire UK for about 9 days on Monday. It's a business trip, but there will be time to shoot. (No, I don't play golf! ;) )

I know it's a seaside resort, do any of the UK POTN'ers have a tip or two as to what may be interesting?

I like landscape and nature photography the best, but am open to any ideas really.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions! :D

Lytham St. Annes is an old style 'genteel' resort, but Blackpool just up the coast is much more brash and plenty of opportunities for 'classic' England seaside images. Worth a day trip if you get chance and then wonder around all the main tourist areas.

The tower, the piers, the fun fair (Pleasure Beach), the trams - all adds up to lots of photo ops. Whether it falls in to the "landscape and nature photography" fold is another story ;)

Blackpool is a bit like Vegas but without the class! Can you imagine :lol:

LL - It sounds like a mix of urban/whatever! That works for me. I just love to explore! Thank you!

LOL... no Blackpool yet. My business schedule has kept me very busy locally. But yesterday was Club day in Lytham and I had a blast - as you already have seen! :D
