EOS 300D, Sigma 105 macro lens, off camera bounce flash [vivitar 285], to close for comfort realy, anyway got away with it, no stings, comments welcome

I'm not a fan of macros, or bug shots, or flower shots...but that one is pretty damned wicked.

That's a stunning lens! How close were you to the wasp. I will have to have me a closer look at that lens you used. :)

Unreal! You knocked it out of the park with that one! :-)

Incidentally I was photographing a wasp nest this past summer from about 15 feet away with the S1 IS; but they were nothing like this. However I did learn a lot about paper wasps and managed to trap several hundred of the things. They absolutely LOVE fermented sugar water. :D

Bugs really don't bother me at all.. but WASPS! They ar enot bugs! thay are the Devils work! ;)
