This is one of my favorite bands!!
I love the photos! GREAT job...I am no event photographer, but from what I have seen, these are some of the best photos here!

Anyway... GREAT job!

Some nice images.
Some look a bit soft.

I won't mention the watermark...

yeah, 1 and 5 in particularly [though they still print out 11x17 very nicely] and the others though sharper to me, still seem to be a "hair or so" off of maximum sharpness.

let me know if that sounds right.

p.s. and rene, thanks as always for checking out my work. you consistently do so and it means a lot to me. I owe you a beer. And your work is inspiring to me.

Wow. Thanks. There are things that could be better but overall I find the look very cohesive and still printable. Thanks very much. That's very flattering especially as I could pt. to sets by any number of regulars here that represent the top to me in quality and consistency.

That really encourages me to keep working and improving to try to be worthy of such remarks.

I checked your blog and the great recent engagement/weddingwork you did. I would encourage readers here to check out the links your sig, including your detailed 40D review.

Thanks Dan. I shot the Xt for a few shows and you definitely can get great shots from it but have to really be patient in getting focus and waiting for a shot. I would also be happy to shoot iso 800 and if you are willing to post process, including noise reduce, would shoot 1600 with it.

I tried to find a favorite out of the bunch and...it was hard. I'd have to say just about everything after 2. I think the only reasons I wasn't so keen on the first 2 is personal taste towards full stage shots.

Great use of lighting, added a good dramatic feel through all of them.
