after 3 months got my Sigma 150 and 400D out and had a play

Man, that is a NICE lens! Crystal clear. These are just the lens, no tubes? Whats the cost of that baby?

Good set, especially #2.

striving - it's an excellent lens, but it's a big and heavy lens and takes a fair bit of getting used to. I'd much recommend the Sigma 105mm as it's cheaper, just as sharp and good. You do lose a few cm in terms of working distance, but what you lose there, you make up in general usability imho.

thanks guys,the Sigma 150 is a great lens, here in the UK (rip off england) price £430 to £480 ,its cheaper any where in the world

I can also vouch for the Sigma 150. Fantastic lens. I really appreciate the extra working distance over my old Sigma 105. I also appreciate the faster AF motor for uses other than macro.

thanks Mark ,been useing the 40D and the MP-E for the last 3 months and it was fun to get the 400D and the Sigma 150 out

The Sigma 150 takes really nice pics. I am a newbie and it makes my pics look great. I attached an unedited Carpenter Bee shot from today.
