The extender that I made is constructed of light cardboard painted black and is held together with black plastic tape. The inside is lined with aluminum foil. The lens was handed out by my bank and is 5 1/4" wide by 3 3/4" wide. I hope this helps you.

Awesome, thanx. I have a lens from an old viewgraph machine that looks similar to the one you have on the front. I'm going to give it a shot, it looks pretty straight forward. Thanx again for posting the pic.

The lens is a magnifier to use when reading small print.
They were handed out to bank customers.
