Back when I was in high school, there was a head shop in town called the Turning Point. We always called it the Burning Joint... I should drive over that way some day and see if it's still there. :D

Thanks Marie, I think I remember the shot you are talking about, but it was in the next Town over, so many of the New England Villages that were built around the same time look very much alike.

Was it always called the Head Shoppe? I did a party at a hair salon, I think that one, but thought it was called something else. I remember their back "porch" overlooked an alley kinda thing and there was a popular restaurant/bar there (well, their back door). A young girl owned the salon. Wonder if it is the same one. Doubt there are many right there at the center.

That's been there quite awhile, not sure if that's always been the name. The restuarant is over to the (left) my mistake it's to the RIGHT and around the corner. the is one other hairdresser right on the corner of 218 and 44 it's in a converted house.

The Head Shoppe used to have a different name but I can't remember what. The storefront with the wreaths used to be an architect's office.

That would be the one :) The restaurant was around the corner to the right but they shared the same back alley.
