My guess was a crab spider from the title :-) Lovley shot though, i like the compositio alot.

that does not look like a Lynx Spider to me, Lynx Spiders are very slender and long and are usually yellowish green in colour.

Ours are this colour, quite a few species about and some variation.

great shots, we get these guys over here in NZ small little buggers and an be a pain in the butt to shoot!

very nice shot. i have seen a few of these brown colored lynx spiders before. great shot. (i thought like Alsitair also . . i thought by the title it would be a crabbie also.
i havent seen many of the brown ones lately...only the green ones. (which may be a younger of the green one??? . . )
