I'm looking for a small battery powered light source. Small enough that a model could place it in his/her mouth, not see the object, but see the light emitted. And not choke on it.
This is a clients idea, not mine. Just trying to find a solution so we can get to work.
If push comes to shove this will turn into a photoshop project.
Thanks.

You can get small LED keyrings that you could use. One I have allows you to press and hold the small switch to get it to stay on without needs to hold it down. The things is probably slightly less that an inch diameter.
Or you could make your own using a button battery and a single white LED, small bit of insulation tape then wrap the lot in cling-film (or similar).
Obviously, in both cases, you would want to be very careful not to swallow it.
Another option is not to use battery power/LED but go with chemical lighting, e.g. those bi-chemical tubes that illuminate when you bend the plastic tube in half that then mixes the chemicals. The stuff is actually non-toxic and being contained within a plastic container, unlikely to leak. You would just need to find one the right shape. E.g. you can get the sticks but they are probably too long, but you can also get the "strings" that are flexible and thin so could wrap around the inside of the mouth behind the teeth. Light levels will be lower than LEDs though.

This idea was scrapped by the client. Sorry, no pics.
