Nice, a blu domain site? (how was their cservice)
anyway...

onb the splash page not keen on the first two images... use your BEST (are these images you...?) if they are thats fine but have better expressions - or show work you've done -

http://www.thioivans.com/v1site_images/splash1.jpg

this one i was thinking of looks really mean and is not a true representation of some of your great work...

On to the site...

I like music on sites, even cheesy but not this song. thats just personal preference though...

Like the simple two galleries sections. (may be expanded as you do more work into bridals details cermeony etc?)

on the WILL YOU gallery section... Start with your best images... it doesnt start with your best portfolio material...

also shot 8 & 22 are nearly identical with just different conversions. avoid this unless its a series with more than 2 in it.

also why does the WILL YOU section have people in wedding dresses in it? this must have crossed the barrier from "will you" to "i do"

like the i do section a lot.

with the featured bit i'd just upload something for now... maybe a whole esession from the couple i talked of earlier. incomplete things really annoy me.

Didnt look to much at the prices but the names really put me off.
They say if you dont buy the highest package then you dont love each other enough or as much....

Why do you have pictures of your camera gear?! Sorry but no-body wants to see this apart from maybe the 1/100 serious photographer that wants photos and may but highly unlikely as what you shoot with. i'd really consider removing this section, just put something about only the best professional equipment and that you have backups for any technical malfuntions to ensure no moments are missed etc etc...

contact page is good

I wouldnt add the calendar until it starts to get filled. looks like u have no work on...

Thanks for listening to my comments. Hope that they help you! overall a nice site!
I really need to get one now! Thinking closely about bludomain but CANNOT decide which template! lol

First. I hate, hate, hate, new screen pop up sites. I usually close them out immediately. Of course I usually have eight windows open at a time, but still. I hate them.

Did you buy rights to use that music? You have to be careful, you are supposed to have rights to use music from the artist or recording company or use royalty free music.

Also, I notice you have LOTS of photos in your galleries. Here is my suggestion. Weed it down some. A lot of the photos are GREAT, however, some are less than great. Only your favorite stuff should go on the site. :) As you do more work you can update with better stuff.

I agree about the splash page image. I do not think that is the best image to use. The guy looks a little angry and maybe like he's an ultimate fighter, lol. Use a softer image :)

As far as "featured" goes.. I would just take it off viability (you should be able to do that) until you're ready for it. I think "coming soon" is unsightly.

Other than that it looks fine to me..

eventhough I don't agree with everything that the others stated, but they hit some really big points in my book...

I personally don't care about the extra page.... I've seen photogs that get 10's of thousands for their work that have it... no biggie but is a tad annoying..

Your image selection is my main concern. You should pick the best of the best to be the first image of everything.. You definitely put your best image as the first you see once you get the website open... but they start to wonder and lose focus. Pick your 10 best photos, not favorite, and use those. Get other's opinions on what your best photos are and go from there. Trim the fat and your stuff will shine.
