NY Eve Concert - The Guitarist.

Saw the "Mavericks" (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-url/index%3Dmusic%26field-keywords%3Dmavericks%26store-name%3Dmusic/002-8429503-1732807) at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano last night. To my amazement, they allowed cameras! Allthough this was from the opening band, I like how it turned out. Now I know that I did not have enough light to get "portrait" quality shots, so I was going for "feel" without getting too blurry. How does it look to you?

I like this shot and I think the blur adds to the picture - I personally don't know what the song was but because of the blur it gives me the feeling that it was lively and his concentration on what he's doing seems to suggest this too.

It also gives the effect of him strumming the guitar where as a faster shutter speed would have frozen that action.

The one thing that I find distracting is the line of blue light on the right of the picture and whatever that is to the left of his head.
