I know that crossposting is frowned upon, and I know why, and I refrain from doing so. BUT, I think I may have an exception.

I do most of my posting in Critique Corner. I find that I usually get the most thoughful responses and best ideas and suggestions. The only problem is the CC is for a limited audience, with a specific and different focus than "Share". Even if I am asking for critique, I would still appreciate exposure that a Share post recieves.

Is there any reason that a Critique Corner post should not crossposted in the appropriate "Share" forum?

Rad,

I see your point.. especially now that we have subcatagories for "Share"

We have had people post in "Share" and then later move it to "Critique" for similar reasons.. and this has allways been acceptable.

I think the biggest trouble with "cross posting" is when two discussions start,. that are inherently redundant and the responses are hampered by the fact that not all of the info is shared in the same thread.

With Share and Critique though,.. the discussions would supposedly remain "different" as the posting intentions are different.

Hmmm... give us a moment to ponder how best to handle it...
(before I put my foot firmly in my mouth) ;)

In this case crossposting sounds ok to me. Best way to do it would be that you post here requesting critique to a post in Share section, and include a link to your "real" post.
