About the lens

Awesome, luxury silver ring feature!

This was the most thorough info on the lens that I could find. Looks like maybe 80-200mm (a $120 lens).

Even better deal I did. Bought my camera and received a 100 rebate. Bought an IP4000 printer and got another 100 dollar rebate because of buying the two. So picked up a basically free printer as office depot had a 30 dollar rebate also.

The rebate for the printer is a visa card but still 100 bucks. That offer is good still too.

I bought my Rebel and 2 qualifying lens and I'm getting $390.00 back in rebates.

It says its a 4x zoom so I would guess its the 55-200 micro usm lens, If so its the same build quality as the kit lense.

By the length of the lens plus the style and postion of the focus ring I would say that lens is more than likely a 75-300 f/4-5.6

Sure looks like a 75-300 non-USM. The non-USM is $159 at B&H. And they do tell you it's a 4x telephoto zoom lens ideal for shooting sports, portraits, and wildlife and has a silver ring for the Luxury touch (silly me! I thought the red was for Luxury). After all, your typical P&S has only got a 3x zoom, so 4x has to be better, right?
