Had to get out yesterday despite the strong winds, made shooting difficult to say the least. In most of the shots i am holding the leaf or whatever the bug is one. The exception is the dungfly and hover shots which were taken in the sheltered side of hedge.

Hiya Alistair,
Excellent shots especially given that it was so windy, got a touch of ' Cabin Fever ' eh nothin worse than that.
Cheers for now

Wonderful series Alistair :)
As I've said before you can often get closer to the bugs in windy conditions.
Love the soldier fly in #1

Great shots there given the conditions (well great shots full stop really), I was out shooting on Sunday as well so I know how hard it was to get anything. There again us Yorkshire folk are used to coping with wind Er! that didn't come out right :D:D:D

Another excellent set Alistair, especially like the first Dung fly shot, and the last shot of that Bee.

Another great series. Man what I wouldn't do to get ONE shot as sharp as some of those. I use a tripod and I can't match those!
