Great set of pics. Love the first one and the composition of it peeking at you like that lol.
what a shame the Robber got a dragon - I didnt realise they would take on something that big!
Gorgeous damsel shot too.

Thanks Linda.
i was surprised when therobber and its dinner fell from above...
i was like..."what the . . . "
i shot video of it also...but it is not so good and it lags on flickr....and kinda gross if you ask me..
i figured someone would like to see it for example..

Thanks for posting the link - yes it is gross but it does show you how they feed. Rather than eating the DF it is simply sucking it dry and that shows clearly by the fly's stomach action. Gross but still very educational.
Well done for getting that.

thanks Linda. im glad you were able to view the video.
i thought it was interestingto see the stomach movement...only problem with that raynox is the narrow DOF, so i messed around too much in the middle of the video, and it was really OOf..next time perhaps...i like the idea of shooting video. :-)

LOL. thanks Brian. the idea to shoot these probably came from you...and i actually tried to invert this one, and adjust saturation like one of your pharts...but i decided it was better as is.

great series LOVE the first shot!
thanks SMB. i wish i had taken more shots, since they were sleeping i think.
Fantastic! Loved the video.
great ! :-) thanks a lot!. i hoped it showed some detail about the behavior of those robbers!
Great shots. Realy like #3 with all the water drops.
thanks a lot Lester. that drop shot was interesting to me because of the "jellyfish" that seems to float in the middle of the larger drop..

thanks Chris. :-) id say those are my fav. of the wasp shots also.
i have been messing with color conversions, and ive been looking for potential macro shots that are good for a sepia look (not that mine is a good sepia..)
i have had a few comments about that damsel converted...so here it is
