My camera will be set to AI Servo, with the 70-200. I don't think I'll be using the flash unless I need to, but I'll bring it just in case.

Can I get away with just using the 24-70L? I want to limit my lens change as much as possible.

Also what do you guys think about my focus mode being set to AI Servo? I also changed my continuous firing more to 3-6 fps for those action moments, "i.e dancing, running around, etc."

I would think the 24-70 and 85 more than the 70-200. You will probably want something wider than 24 more than you want more reach. The 70-200 is good at across the room candids and blurring the background. I would use one shot focus but your 1D focuses better than my XTi. Don't use continuous more than needed. Time your shots. They will be better and you'll have less PP to do.
