You thoughts are welcome, though I can't take all the credit as I used an action which I downloaded from somewhere. First off I inverted the original image and made some adjustments to the contrast & saturation.

The original picture is of ivy on a tree trunk!

I LIKE IT!

I like the colors, the texture, the feel. It reminds me of the type of background that would be on an album cover in the psychedelic 60's.

Even Marcia, who is the biggest fanatic for literalism in photography ("But that's not the way is WAS!) likes it.

Well done,

Rad

PS what is the name/download location of the action you used?

Would make a very nice cloth - over a bed perhaps...

Thanks for the comments,
Cameron,
Normally I don't care for this sort of thing but there's something about this that grabs my attention.

Rad, pleased you and Marcia like it.

Pekka, I see where you are coming from - I never thought of textiles.

I think one of the reasons I like it is that it reminds me of when I was at college and we did some "Bass Relief" effects in Photography using two negitaves of the same image.

For anyone who's interested the action is included in this set and is called "Daves No Name Action" http://www.geocities.com/kafuensis/ it certainly gives a "Comic Book" feel to images.
