Well just wanted to introduce myself (if anyone cares lol)I'm SeanI have been doing some research on buying a few things and using google have come across this site a bunch of times. Each of the posts I have seen so far has been helpful and/or informative. Haven't seen the .... don't buy that you have to get the RRS & Gitzo combo for $1500.I am married with children and my wife is a stay at home mom so i'm not going to be able to get the best of everything.I bought my first ever slr 1.5 years ago around Christmas time.here's my equipment so far:Canon 30D18-55 kit lens75-300 cheapy zoom28-200 quantaray macro zoom50mm 1.8 nifty fiftylowenpro slingpack (i think)be here tomorrow via ups amvona tripod and ballheadordering in next couple of weeks:Calumet genesis 2X200 light kitbackdrops and stands wishlist:higher power strobes after I learn to use themCanon 70-200 F2.8 L lenswide to mid zoom L lensthat's me.hope to learn and help where I can.I'm from the Akron, OH areafeel free to email crazyseany@gmail.comseanoh yeah I do most of my surfing/typing/reading from my cell so keep that in mind if my caps or punctuation is goofy...lol
