I know this is off topic but since we have so many brilliant teckies in here I thought someone might be able to help. If not, mod please delete.
My P&S is a Panasonic DMC-LC33 which has the capability to record video clips, and it records as .mov files or in other words quicktime movies. I do not have the full version of Quicktime but was wondering is there any way to edit the quicktime movies themselves or a free way to convert them to mpeg files, so that I can try out a Pinnacle product or something like that. It's stupid to me to have to buy a file converting program AND a good editing program as well.
It feels strange to be using a apple program (Quicktime) on my pc. I am scared of conflicts.
The reason I want to do this is that I have slideshow program which can also have video clips in it, but I cannot edit the video with my slideshow program.
