Being new here could someone either explain or point me in the right direction for an explanation as to the symbols to the left of the thread titles? I have looked all over and can't find an explaination.

Have you scrolled to the bottom of the page when you're in the forums (not the individual threads)? My screen shows the explanations for the symbols, if I understand your question correctly.

No need to. You've been on the forums for a couple of days. There's a lot to see, learn and do. You shouldn't expect to be an expert in a week.

There's nothing silly about it. I'm a moderator. I've been using this software for a couple years, and I'm still learning a lot of its nuances. There's a new version coming soon, and I'll have even more to learn.

Also, like runninmann said, welcome to the forum. We happen to think it's the best on the internet.
