Howdy folks!

I really dig this pic! Comments welcome!

Hiya D, Looks like a case of perfect timing on your shutter fingers part, catching Her with a thin sheet of water still on Her face. Looks kinda like She's emerging from a cocoon or something.:D

Very cool. Almost surreal. I might try pumping up the light and the contrast just a bit to see what happens.

Really neat effect, Almost doesn't even look like water, looks more like some kind of gelatin. Really COOL

That is a great shot, what timing you have there!

Thanks for the compliments everyone!

Ya, I lucked out with the timing. Not sure how many attempts I'd need to make if I were to stage the shot. Heck, I would probably end up getting frustrated and give up! :p

Thanks for the suggestion Charlesu. I'll give it a try!

Here's the results of some post-processing. Basically, as Charlesu suggested, I bumped up the brightness and contrast a bit.

Then I also used the 'selective colors' tool to bring out more of a "refreshing" feel to the pic. Better?

I'm still trying to get the feel for post-processing, and what to do to get certain effects.

Thats fantastic. I think the edited version is a little too blue, which pulls you away from the center, where you definitely wanna be. Maybe try keeping the extra brightness you've achieved but shift the blue hue or saturation, just to stop it from being too overpowering. great shot.

I love the edited version. But if parts are too strong, do the edits on a duplicate layer. Then, partially erase or erase bits of that layer that you don't want to change.

I love this and would hang a print of it on my bulletin board.

Great capture. It almost looks like as if there's a dolphine figure to the right of her head too heh.
